iStyle... A Friendly Visit!

Aug 30...

I brought this shirt from J.Crew's Crewcuts section... on sale cost me $7! I love this T.. the color makes me happy looking at it and the faded letters gives it a aged retro look. 

I told someone I was about to buy it and they informed me I couldn't wear it! 0_o huh? Why not? She her reasonings were that men would take it the wrong way? o_O really? I see it as a boy's kids shirt... and I like Hot Dogs (the food) ...the T-Shirt is super cute and super soft! It didn't dawn on me that men would interpret it differently because I was a female wearing it and therefore it would have a negative perverted connotation. Hmph! *cross arms* *pouting* 

I still had intentions to wear the shirt to work... I didn't care what she said... that was not my interpretation. 

Yeah... I wore it anyway! And added a skirt to be spicy! 

My kaleidoscope of colors produced a funky combination. 

I adore these new green shades I got from LF with Shay! 

They remind me of Rihanna's white opaque pair she's adores!

Aug 31...

My new J.Crew Edie purse has been turning heads lately! 

The vintage style works with everything... I can't seem to stop carrying it! #classic

Love this collection... I want the large black one too! So Corporate! 

And since that is the Life I'm About now...I might as well go Hard or go Home! 

I have to have it... it can fit my laptop, and purse contents! YAASSS!

Sept 3...

Mommy and Me day... Chillin' in the City, taking in the sights! 

Coming out of Panera downtown, we heard this noise. We knew the Grand Prix was going on but we did not know it would be that loud! Seeing the people and hearing the noise we decided to see what the fuss was about and headed over to the main attraction!

Car didn't make it's turn, so we got to see it up close! 

Mommy and Me! Love her!

They showed the race on the big screen so we could see from the cars point of views and the other turns of the race! Nice! 

It was a good time out there... a lot of noise and kids, everyone having a great time enjoying one of Baltimore's Summer Festivities! 

Sept 4...

Hanging with Sheri!!! 

So my bestie got offered a new teachers position at Baltimore Leadership School for Young Girls! A charter school for middle school girls... her class is a Mind, Body and Soul class. Where the girls are put in a "Free" environment to talk about any and everything... from feelings, to sex, to spirituality. In hopes of getting the girls to express themselves, receive information and help them deal with womanly issues! They specifically asked for Sheri because of the work she has done with the young ladies in S.W.A.G.G Academy! I'm so proud of Ri and the school is Amazing! 

I helped Decorate! 

The boards are so cute... and fun and bling-y!

Sheri and I put our creative minds together and came up with these board concepts!

I made this for her College Wall!! 

The girls are so blessed to have her!

Before she would feed me, we had to venture to Sparrow's Point to some 1902 war re-enactment. 

She was covering the story for one of her 50 jobs!

Dinner... then time to get back on the bus to head to New York!
