iStyle... Living Life Like Its GOLDEN!

I Love Rihanna and hate her all at the same time. Love her for her every forging stylish ways. Even her simplicity always looks Amazing! I could only wish to look as good in Jeans and a T-Shirt! She plays with color, fit and creates her own trends or rocks the new ones straight from the runway with such conviction, that it's hard to not take notice! My Kind of Girl!

But the flip side is my hate for her having the resources to pull off all these creative looks. I come up with these Grand ideas for 'fits... then I look on the blogs or her site and see her in a version of some style I conjured up in my head. The same thing happens with June Ambrose, but that's another story for another day!

This is why I need to go back to having a job with no dress code restrictions. Because I have to wear stupid work wear five days a week, its very seldom I get the liberty to really be creative or sport my fun looks. So my ideas have to wait until I have a day off or have an event to attend. By that time my little iStyles are late, they've already been plastered over the web on a celebrity and then I look like I'm copying... when that is sooooo not the case! ugh! ok I digress...

For instance... My outfit for the Beyonce' concert (Aug 19); I kept telling my coworkers, Tiff and Shay (for almost a week) that I wanted to be casual (because it was going to be a lot of standing) so my thoughts were to wear my NEW Zara Merigold Blazer with a grung-y gray V-neck T-shirt and my J.Crew Flare Denim. I was soooo committed to this look until the actual day of the show. When I decided I needed to be a little more funky and went with a gray tank and a BCBG metal chain vest instead!

Beyonce' Concert Final Look! 

This turned out to be a blessing because while waiting in line outside the Roseland Ballroom, a monsoon hit New York... complete with winds, heavy rains, thunder, lighting ... the works! If I would have worn my new jacket, it would have been soaked from the rain and I would have been PISSED (like the real kind) I DO NOT play about my clothes being ruined!

Okay, Back to the matter at hand...

So this morning (Aug 21) I'm on the ybf.com and what do I see?!?!? Little Miss Rihanna in her oversized Merigold coat, gray tee and jeans leaving a restaurant in London!!!! Grrrr! This little Cutie must have been reading my mind! She looks Super Fab though... from the new hair color to the white shades to the simple necklace and that COAT!!! If you didn't get chills looking at theses pictures, then yeah... you're probably not as stylish as you thought! Ha!

Yup I would want her autograph too... Just for looking so darn Kay-ute!!!
