July 25...

After work Shaila and Jackie decided to grab a bite to eat... I arrived shortly after, nibbled on some spaghetti ... then off we go to crash the Adidas party! ...Yay! I'm always ready for a little party! It theme was a Carnival with Hot Dogs, Pretzels, Dancers and Games!  Oh! And Celebrities Tyrese and Big Sean! Man I was super sad that Big Sean slipped out before I could get a picture! He's such a cutie!

July 29...

About to leave work and go chill with my Tiffy-Pooh! I'm ready to blow this Taco Stand! 

Yeeeees! I love the color of my new Minnie Pant Vibrant Flame, but I hate the actual pant! I wear them like a sweat pant with sneakers now, they have the worst stretch ever! 

S/O to Shay for putting this little braid in the front of my head, I LOVED it! My coworkers thought it was a braided headband! Nope! 

Later that day...

The plan was to go to the skating rink at the High Line... then attend the movies... well the Rain had another plan for us... it was raining cats, dogs, cows, chickens and everything else when we got to the rink! Therefore skating was NOT an option!!! But we did eventually make it to the movies... Horrible Bosses was not that good to me! But others seemed to like it! :-/

Spare shirt in my purse kept me from getting totally drenched!

These people were playing in the rain... getting wet on purpose while we tried our best to stay dry!

I guess we all have different ideas of fun! Mines was finding ways to NOT get wet!

It was a cool spot... now we actually have to go back when its Sunny to enjoy the festivities! I'm ready to get my Roll Bounce on! 

July 30...

I'm always up for an adventure... and this day was no different as I tried to make my way to a certain part of Queens! Soooo I missed my train, the guy told me to take another train which will take me halfway there instead of waiting an hour for the next train, when I got off that train I was told to take a bus, I get off the train to be approached by a guy who tells me the bus is a couple blocks away and not regular NYC blocks, then he tells me I look like I am not from around there and that everyone who offers me a ride (towncar, taxis, cabs, $1 vans, etc.) are going to try to rip me off because I look like money (as he ran down everything that I had on) *side eye*...then he proceeds trying to figure out if I was meeting a girl or guy, because the conclusion is if it was a guy then he must be on 'home monitor' or doesn't give a crap about me to have me in Jamaica Queens trying to catch a $1 van or a bus... hmmmmm. Finally he offers me a ride, but first he has to pick up a cake for a birthday party in the opposite direction from where I need to be. I have watched to many shows where people accept people's kindness and don't make it out alive. Sir thanks but no thanks, I'll pass *as I wait 30 minutes for the next train*!!!!! I wanted to go to the beach, not to Heaven! Sheeesh!

Finally with my homies ready to go to a 'Pool Party' somewhere in Long Island! 

Well after about an hour and me probing on the location I figure out it's not just ANY ole' part of Long Island it's damn near the Hamptons!!! *waving* Hello to Russell Simmons, Isis and the ART for Life fundraiser! 

I got us a present for the ride! A little Motivation never hurt nobody! Kelly Rowland's CD is actually good driving music! :-)

As we passed the Beach that was the original destination for that day! :-/

I had to send these pictures to Maya... Kelly looked AMAZING! Werk hon-ney!

After the pool party... I was taken to the beach... yay!

Rhontin were in Boston at a Red Sox game! How cute... 

I Love my J. Crew suspender khaki's and Bright Dahlia Elodie sleevesless Shirt! Kinda quirky look, only thing missing is some cute glasses! 

Aug 3...

I was in LOVE with this J.Crew Leopard Perfect Shirt! The fit of the shirt is not as fitted as I would like  but the flirty print is a favorite! My grey Marc Jacobs pants and neon bead H&M necklace add the perfect touch of color! 

Aug 4...

Shoutout to the J.Crew Blythe Blouse in Extravagant Green and the slim Bennett Chino's! These colors toped off with black and silver accessories and a splash of orange really set it off! This is my favorite color blouse right now! So vibrant and fresh for the Fall season!

Okay that week is over... now on to the next!!!
